Flexarmor’s shovel stick protectors are custom designed to protect the stick from end-of-travel bucket impacts or wear from handling very large rocks. The stick protectors are designed and manufactured according to the specific needs of your equipment and adapted to your operational situation. They can be used on a front loading excavator, on a cable shovel or on a conventional excavator.
Because rubber is compressible and deformable, Flexarmor stick protectors are able to absorb end-of-travel bucket energy and eliminate structural damage to the mast. They are ideal for preventing cracks in masts operating in extreme cold, and are installed by bolting. A steel backing sheet is molded into the stick protector, which allows it to be bolted to the equipment structure using Nelson-type welded threaded studs. Bring us your challenges!
