Flexarmor : Suspended rubber curtains

Simple to install and very efficient, Flexarmor suspended rubber curtains can be used to solve ore handling problems in a simple way. Flexarmor curtains are equipped with a series of holes reinforced with a steel plate in their upper part to attach chains. The other end of the chains fit into banjo holes in a structure, allowing the curtain to be hung or adjusted in height very quickly. This type of suspension mounting gives the curtains a great deal of freedom of movement in multiple axis, which allows for the absorption of impact energy, gives the curtains the ability to prevent clogging, and directs the ore that hits the curtains directly down onto a belt or grizzly bars.

Flexarmor rubber curtains are custom-made in length, width, and thickness as required for each application, taking into account rock size and speed at impact. For certain high abrasion applications, Steelguard carbide overlay plates, Abreco plates or HT steel inserts can be molded into the rubber curtain. Steelguard carbide plates can be chrome, titanium or complex carbide depending on the rate of abrasion and impact the curtain is exposed to. These molded insert plates can be oriented horizontally or vertically as needed on certain curtain surfaces
